Dollar Tree Christmas Decor

Looking for great buys on Christmas decor and gift-wrapping items?! 🎄

Dollar Tree is where it’s at! Seriously, they have the BEST buys! However, do keep in mind that Dollar Tree inventory can vary greatly by region, but hopefully many of you will be able to find the same deals that I have. One tip – I would reonlinemend shopping sooner than later as they may sell out of many of the popular Christmas items.

Check out my finds:

Dollar Tree Decor

How adorable are these Christmas decorations and signs?! SO many FUN finds and only $1! I purchased the Santa Welonlinee sign and the Snowman Believe sign. Love ’em!

Dollar Tree Gift Bags

Gift bags! This is literally MY FAVORITE deal to score at Dollar Tree! All of their gift bags are just $1, including the HUGE over-sized bags. What *HOT* buys, especially when you onlinepare to the $4 to $5 cost at other stores!

Christmas Cards

Really festive and unique Christmas cards for just a buck?! Yes, please. At other stores, you’d pay $2-$4 for greeting cards like this.

Gift Wrapping

Wrapping paper for just $1! My local Dollar Tree had a nice selection too. These rolls are on the smaller side, but a great option if you want a nice selection when wrapping presents.

Christmas Stockings

Christmas stockings for ONLY $1! My store has fun Disney-themed ones too.

Christmas towels

Christmas towels for just a buck! What an easy and cheap way to dress up your kitchen for Christmas.

Dollar Tree Ornaments Loads of Ornaments all priced at $1 or less! My store currently has a nice selection, but I’m guessing the popular ones will go quick.

Did you catch my Facebook Live video yesterday? I show off my Dollar Tree Christmas finds! 😍

I always found this paper cheap. It would tear so easily. Jmo

    • Just Me

      Agree

    • Michele

Mine has great quality. It just is only 20 sq ft.

    • erica

agreed as well – I think it’s worth it to pay for a better quality paper that doesn’t rip to shreds when trying to cut it haha. also the one I had bought was pretty thin and you could see the items’ names and pictures through the paper

      • Suzanne H

Agreed. By the time you double up the paper so you can’t see through it, it’s not worth it. Also, the rolls run really short. I do like it when I am doing a theme gift though – like Batman item with Batman paper but I’m probably the only weirdo that does that! LOL I think it’s best to buy wrapping paper after Xmas when it’s 75-90% off and try to find something that isn’t necessarily Xmas b/c then you can use it for other occasions as well!

        • Princess

I do that too. Minions with minions, hello kitty with hello kitty, etc. I think it’s cute when they open it and the gift inside matches the paper. I guess we are 2 weirdos. Lol😀

          • Suzanne H

            Love it!

I run an after school program for middle schoolers and this place is my go-to place for everything!!!! Did you see the super cute Christmas socks?? Or the 1.5 liter of Coke, Diet Coke & Sprite? Don’t worry I don’t pass the Caffeine & sugar on to them, I keep that to myself. The Halloween decorations this year were awesomely frightening! I have noticed that if you see something you like. Buy it then because it may not get replaced!! 😃

    Enjoy!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the awesome feedback! Glad to hear you have spotted some great finds!

  3. Megan

I love getting gift wrap from here! It may not be thick but my kiddos could care less. Perfect for gifts that aren’t going to be sitting out.

    • Kristy

plus it’s easy for the little ones to open!

    • Sara

      Yes, me too!

  4. Keri B

We were there about a week ago and I saw so many cute Christmas items! My brain wasn’t quite ready yet to buy though (too early!) but I know I need to go back soon. I always find such great things at that store 🙂

  5. Jennifer L.

I went today after seeing your video last night and my store in FL had everything you showed. SUCH cute stuff- I am obsessed with the fuzzy gift bags and the giant gift bags! They had some beautiful nativity-themed ones, too for those looking for items that help portray the true meaning of Christmas 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes! Super cute! Glad to hear you could find them!

  6. Mama Dill

I get a lot of gift supplies here, especially wrap (with the exception of santa wrap which is bought in bulk at Sams club, LOVE that stuff). Look at the roll sizes though, last week I noticed it was mixed in 15 sq ft up to 60

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the tip! Good to know!

  7. Sara

Love, love, love this place for Christmas stuff!!!

  8. Megan

They also have super cute strands of battery operated lights this this year for $1! Snowflake ones, stars, colorful bulbs that are round or traditional shape for Christmas lights… These are great to use on a homemade “UGLY SWEATER” for the holidays or on wreaths, mini trees, gifts… you name it… anywhere that needs some cute lights without needing an outlet. I made an advent calendar that I hang on my wall of a Christmas tree and used a strand of these lights on it so the tree “LIGHTS UP” now. I sewed strands of ribbon on the ends of the tree from top to bottom and just swagged the lights down the tree, his the battery onlinepartment in a pocket. The possibilities are endless with these lights! But they go fast, for only $1, so GO NOW! The Halloween ones went FAST back when they first came out too! Happy Holidays everyone!

    • Megan

And don’t forget to stock up on batteries for the lights while you’re there;)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

  9. Laura

I just went today and I got so many Christmas ornaments for crafts and they had Christmas wreaths at my store! Perfect! They also have cute containers to fill up with cookies and other goodies!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet finds Laura!

  10. Danielle

The one by me is horrible… it’s dirty and missing 1/2 the ceiling … they never have anything and if they do it’s broke or just not worth the $1 …

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn 🙁 Sorry to hear that Danielle!

  11. Crystal

One Dollar Tree in my area had Christmas stuff since August. Stocked up on ornaments & lights.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Glad you could snag them early!

  12. ❤️my_lineman

My little ones love the holiday refrigerator magnets! You can make so many different scenes with them and they have them for every holiday! It really helps to keep little ones that like to be in the kitchen with you occupied lol

  13. Casey Meyers

Walmart has sets of gift bags which are cheaper then buying each bag for a dollar. Also there tissue paper onlinees in a big pack for less than a dollar. I skip wrapping paper. No kids to wrap presents for.

  14. Leah

Don’t forget to check out their greeting card section too! My dollar tree has cards 2 for $1! Great deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I agree! Awesome deal!

      • Sarah

I got some super cute Thanksgiving cards that were glittery with scrapbook-y accents on them for 2 for $1. Normally would be $4+ for at Hallmark

  15. Djc

    Free shutterfly ornament
    KEBG-FK2C-M74M-MC5W37
    Hope someone can use it.

    • Cindy

      Thank you so much!!

  16. Becca

I found some super cute Christmas decorations at mine but be aware about washing the kitchen dish towels. I washed mine like I normally would and the pattern pretty much all but came off. 🙁 (it is so faded you can barely tell it was on at all).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer 🙁 Thanks for the feedback Becca!

  17. Aileen G

I shop at Dollar Tree an embarrassing amount. They have scotch tape 2 for $1 which is always a good deal. As others have stated, their wrapping paper is super thin & usually the rolls are TINY, however, they have great licensed paper that I really love. Like getting Avengers paper for my nephews or I was there the other night and they have National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation paper (!!!) which I was super pumped about 😂 My local store (Dayton, OH) is also having their 10% off $10+ this Sunday so that’s a great time to stock up!!

    • Holly Voll

Thanks for the tip Aileen! I’m heading over there tonight for that Christmas Vacation paper!

      • Aileen G

I hope you get it because it’s awesome! Has Clark and the moose glass and everything. A fairly good sized roll too (for dollar tree anyways) I think like 20 sq ft?

  18. Christine

We are having a contest at work for the best Christmas decorated cubicle or office. We have agreed that items can only be purchased at the Dollar Tree. I have been to several different stores in the past week. They all have something different.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! That sounds super fun!

  19. Barbie

Decent wrapping paper, wasted money. I have always used , and still use sunday onlineics. Kids don’t care. Its nice colors, and it’s going to get ripped and trashed anyway. Adults enjoy trading the onlineics. And if some needs really fancy paper they can buy it themselves.

  20. Lenni Travis

I found I love grandma and grandpa ornaments, coffee mugs, and 40 sq ft wrapping paper. I always buy my christmas and holiday decor here. Just so much money saved!
