Ohh I’ll have to find mine and price match at Staples 👍

  2. Stefanie

They were almost free after Staples 110% price match several weeks ago when they had this deal. Like 5 cents or 15 cents or something.

  3. Crystal

My office max says they can only accept manufacture coupons if the item is not on sale. Anyone else told that?

    • Mamma Liu

YES! Went today and my Office Depot told me the same thing! I was told that the coupon states it. I didn’t feel like pursuing further and just purchased without coupons since they were still great sale prices (BIC pens). Anyone else have similar experience?

    • Erin

Ditto yesterday on Bic pencils. A woman in front of me had several Bic coupons and the cashier explained to us that the coupon is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. (Really? Even full price “offers”? Pretty useless coupon!) A manager just deducted them as store coupons.

I was told they couldn’t accept coupons on items on sale under $3.00. I had no issue with them taking the PaperMate InkJoy coupons for $.75 each on 3 Pen packs that were on sale for $6.00. Maybe they just make it up as they go…..lol

My office max had so many troubles this week with the$1 off Bic pencils and velocity pens. They kept saying after the coupons I no longer met the $5 min to get the items at 10 cents like glue and pencil boxes. Anyone else have that problem?

  5. Kristy

The one I went to only let me use one coupon. (She said it says on the coupon). I told her It says I can use up to 4 but she insisted it says “1 per purchase”. I knew I was right but It wasn’t worth the argument. And she wouldn’t let me separate my transactions. I walked away with only 1 free BIC item.

I wish Walmart sold these staplers

I bought 3 of the staplers at Office Depot Sunday. They are really nice!!! I gave each of my daughters one for their rooms (they are older and won’t “play” with them…lol). I also bought 3 packs of Paper Mate InkJoy Ballpoint Pens on sale for $6.00 each and used my 3 $.75 coupons. They wouldn’t accept the BIC coupons on the BIC pens, so I put them back and used the coupons to price match at Staples for 110%, which ended up being a better deal. Since stores earn the face value of the coupons plus extra money on each of them, I can’t understand why they are turning them away. Collin, you ROCK! The deals I have gotten from this site are awesome!!!

Super glad to hear you have been able to score some Awesome deals! Thanks for the sweet onlinement! 😉

  8. Just Me

Did it at staples. Paid 14 cents (tax). 100% price match not 110%

  9. Karen

I tried this and they wouldn’t accept the coupon…said they couldn’t use it because it would be free and they couldn’t give me anything free……

  10. ashley

I was told you cannot use coupons on sale items! Ill head to staples seeing that this works there…I don’t see the issue with it – they get their money and reimbursed. But it would not scan and kept beeping, the guy onlinees over and was like so you think you just want to pay 14 cents for these? My manager says we cannot accept the coupon because its a sale item. Not worth the argument…
