I know it say a non gmo seed. But The onlinepany’s principal consumer brands in North America are Scotts, Miracle-Gro, and Ortho. In addition, Scotts is Monsanto’s exclusive agent for the marketing and distribution of consumer Roundup. Just thought you might like to know!
The GMOs won’t hurt you. It isn’t even a good term for it anyway as those other varieties created through radiation are most certainly genetically modified but can be sold as non-GMO. Monsanto doesn’t just sell “GMO” seeds nor are they the only ones who do create them, often for the benefit of farmers. Not sure why they’re a “big bad” for it. Roundup is also off-patent so many onlinepanies now use that formula to create herbicides, and the new seeds that have been created weren’t created so farmers could use more herbicide, but that they wouldn’t harm their crops while controlling the invasive weeds.
Man made stuff should not be in our food supply, plain and simple! To each their own!
I agree! My dad was an organic farmer. He only fed his chickens organic feed. Another farmer gave him GMO corn, which was fed to the chickens (At the time my dad didn’t know, he found out AFTER the fact) every chicken that ate it, died 🙁 Don’t mess with the food supply 🙂
