  I got the 100 points, but it didn’t convert to the $10 reward. When I called customer service, they said I should just show it at the register and still get the credit. Well, it didn’t happen- they said they needed the actual reward barcode and that it’ll probably turn into it later (I was worried about the month end expiration). I checked yesterday and now I have ZERO points ;(

  I never got it either and I signed up at the same time as you. I just removed the app from my phone. Sounds like a onlinemon problem. Poor business practice by JCP!

  Hmmmm I emailed customer service and got a response saying the 4th of the month. Doesn’t sound like they have it together over in the customer service department!

  The regular rewards are issued the 4th of the month. Don’t know about the $10 credit for downloading the app.

   I’m getting an error downloading the app that I need IOS 8. I checked my phone and I have 7, and it’s not offering any updates. Help? I’m phone illiterate.

  IOS 9 is available…. I think. So you should definitely have an update available. Do a hard restart of your phone — Press and hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously. Hold both buttons until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart. Let go when you see the silver Apple logo appear on screen. Then look for a software update.

  I tried, and it says ‘checking for updates’ (in the settings), then says iOs 7.1.2. Your software is up to date.

   Is anyone having issues logging into the app? I can use my phone number and it recognizes that but when I try to actually sign in, it says it doesn’t recognize my email address. i can sign in online with the email address and password but not the app…

  Very, very rarely. I have only seen them do it a couple of times a year at most. One of my biggest pet peeves about shopping there. They will occasionally offer free shipping for a $49 purchase instead of the usual $99 purchase.

    Downloaded the app and signed up for rewards within the app. Then I had to connect my jcp account with my rewards account. That was a huge hassle kept getting error message but finally figured it out. Opened app again today and it said accounts weren’t connected so I connected them AGAIN. Then it said Success and I clicked go to account at the bottom and it showed I had $10 reward credit in the app. FINALLY.

    So annoying. I’ve tried to do this numerous times and have been unsuccessful each time. Keeps telling me there’s no such account associated with my email, yet I’m able to log in with my email and password through my browser.
