Does anyone know how much it is usually?

Whole Foods has better quality steaks, but they are so overpriced. These usually go on sale at a mainstream grocery store for $8.99 – $9.99 per lb.

    • Gerta

$9/lb is generally the sale price at my Kroger but they are boneless so would obviously weigh less 👍

        ???
        It says bone-in, not boneless.

        • Katie

Oh, you mean at the Kroger?

    • Sandy

$3 extra for a quality piece of steak is not too bad. I splurged and tried this the last time Collin posted this. It WAS a “Nordstrom” steak as someone posted! It was a fine fine piece of meat. Will purchase again! Thanks for posting Collin!

Is that supposed to be a deal? It sounds like a rip-off disguised as an offer.

That is a lot of money to pay for meat. I can get steaks just as good at other stores for around $7.50/lb.

    I love your videos!

      Thank You! 😉

Wasnt whole foods just recently caught way over-charging their customers? This still seems like a rip off to me. Not that we have a whole foods in our area anyways… Nor would I ever pay that much. Just putting in my $.2. 🙂

This is not the same quality of meat that you get at a regular grocery store, it’s a much better quality, and you can tell from the taste, it’s like onlineparing Walmart to Nordstroms. The normal price is around $18.99 in our area. We usually splurge for holidays & birthdays. This is a great deal, thanks Collin!

Does anyone know if these freeze well like it’d I need it in. Month but buy it now will it still taste good later?

  8. fabulous

Thanks for posting. Quality cost extra and this price isn’t bad for a quality product. You can’t be cheap all the time.

  9. Ashlee

Does anyone have any good recipes on how to cook these? (With no grill) I’ve never actually made steak myself!

    • Myranda

I use my cast iron pan. Search the Alton Brown episode where he cooks steaks. I think on foodnetwork.online there is an exact method from him.

IDK if Collin has posted this or not, but at my local Whole Foods, Applegate packaged deli meats are 40% off until Wednesday. I did the math earlier and I could be wrong but I think it came to 3.5x per package. With the 0.75 coupon on coupons.online, that’s $2.75 for Applegate sliced deli meat!!! NEVER seen it that low.
