Just an FYI that you have a limit of 30 under the extreme deals, which should be a limit of 5. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry about that, Peever! Just updated!

There were coupons from the Crayola facebook that popped up in my newsfeed over the last couple days one was save $1 on super tips markers or twistables products. There was also $3/$15 crayola products. I was at Menards last night and I am not familiar with their coupon policy but they had the 24pk twistable crayons for 3.50.

Can you price match the Expo 4pk dry erase markers to Office Depot’s sale which is $1 for the 4-pack?

    • rae

Yes that is their 110% piece match policy so you will actually get them for .90!

      • Ambermomma7

Can i still use my Coupon on them still if I price match at staples?

        • Thankship2save!

Mine did a few weeks ago. They were not happy about it, though. I had price matched them for $2.50 at Target. P.S. the expo markers will be cheaper than .90 ….. the 110% is 10% of Staples expo price – Price Match. For exmple, if expo are $5 at Staples and you Price match them for a $1 you would pay $.60 (5-1 is 4 and 10% is .40, so an additional .40 off the price match.) This WILL most likely cause issues with using the $1 coupon.

          • rae

Really? I didn’t know that but I’ve never done a price match there either. I just assumed it was of the onlinepetitors price.

My staples didn’t accept my manufacturer coupons a couple weeks ago. Has anyone else encountered this?

I drove 30 minutes last weekend to go to Staples for some price match items and instead of price match they did a price override. I know the stores have had some great deals but it’s pretty frustrating when they pull that kind of stuff to avoid paying the 110% difference.

  6. Noël

I went to Staples Saturday morning to price match Office Max’s Sharpie Assorted Ultra Fine 12PK for $3. The associate who rang me up is fairly new (about a month … I know because I spoke with her on an earlier visit), she did a price “override” versus a price “match.” Which honestly, I didn’t even know Staples had a 110% Price Match Policy. The only reason I now know, is my sister did the same thing this evening, but when she went in the associate price “matched” with an additional 10% off the lower price. So, each set was $2.70. I definitely think the stores should be honest and “match” accordingly. In my case, $3 is a great deal regardless and I was able to use my 75¢ MQ too (making it $2.25). However, on a higher priced item or purchasing multiples, I would’ve been upset.

I wouldn’t doubt cashier doesn’t know about price match and believed over ride was the right procedure. Unless it’s a huge difference, I just let it go…
