  I had a problem with a pearl jewelry set that I ordered but never took out of the box. By the time I pulled it out several months after, the chain ( .925 silver) had rusted. I was not happy but it had been a while since I ordered so I didn’t expect to be able to return it. However, when I contacted them just to ask if the necklace really was silver, they allowed me to return it and replaced it for me.

  Same thing happened when I bought a gift that arrived damaged…they replaced it for me with no problem. I usually at least let the onlinepany know of a problem even though they may choose not to resolve it. Novica has given me really good customer service though so I continue to buy from them. That’s just my .02.

  Just wondering if the chain was not pure .925 but .925 plated. I read on one of the jewelry item, the following description: “. 925 Sterling silver plated brass extender and clasp” Sometimes the word plated doesn’t stand out after seeing .925.

   Thank you Collin. I have loved almost everything I have gotten from them. Be sure to read the dimensions on things before you buy (I like small earrings and some were much larger than pictured – my bad.) Great treat for myself in the mail and totally unique.
