  1. Margie

Was hoping either Walmart or Toys R Us would have more lego products listed… 🙁

    • Nick

Walmart has a 1600 piece set for $30! That is a steal.

      • Margie

Yes, but I was hoping to get the actual buildings as we do not have any yet for our collection! We are new Lego builders! 🙂

      • Rebecca

Is this an in-store thing because I can’t find anything like 1600 piece building blocks online?! I have found the 600 piece buckets…but I don’t see anything larger.

      • angela b

Which one? If you don’t mind sharing!

  2. Pharmchick

I hope the vtech suitcase is available online! I would love to give that as a bday gift to my niece and it would be easier to directly ship it.

  3. julie

OT but amazon has the monster high cataonlinebs playset as a lightening deal. Its available soon.

  4. Lea Anne

Are these in store only? I like shopping from home better 🙂

    • nicolegammeter

Based on the first page of the ad scan, the prices, offers, and exclusions may vary online. They’ll release more information about their online deals closer to Black Friday.

      • cbeths

Last year, I was able to get the items I wanted online. But I was buying items in the $25-40 price range. And nothing on the front or back pages.

    • Melissa

Last year there were a couple things I wanted but not enough to go out in the crowds, well I put the same items in my cart on amazon and everyday watched the price and sure enough, each item I wanted I eventually scored at black friday prices.

  5. Tanya Berman

Does anybody know if all of these deals will be available online as well?

    • Karla

Wondering the same! Please help! 😉

    • nicolegammeter

They’ll release more information about their online deals closer to Black Friday. Their ad scan states that prices, offers, and exclusions may vary online.

  6. Heather C

Every little one should have a big wheel! Oh, the memories 😋

    • nicolegammeter

      😀

  7. amanda

It stinks that all i want at toys r us is playdoh

    • Margie

same here…I will pay full price elsewhere instead of fighting the crowds at TRU on black Friday! 😉

    • Angela

Last year Walmart matched the top 100 Black Friday deals in the week before Black Friday, and the $1 play-doh was one of the things they matched! I was so excited!

      • Melissa

I’m hoping for that again this year! Unfortunately walmart doesn’t carry the calico critters and my 5 year old really wants that but no way am I fighting toys r us crowds. 😳

      • Margie

I will keep an eye out for that Angela! Thanks

  8. Julie

I was able to get a couple of the Vtech suitcases on hip2save’s website just after Christmas last year for around $14 each. This is why I am addicted to this site- too many good deals to pass up! My husband is going to be so shocked when he goes to the attic to retrieve the Christmas tree and see’s all of the presents that I have been packing away since last Christmas. Hoping that he will at least be somewhat thankful that he will not have to “Run” really really fast this Black Friday. LOL.

  9. T

Does anyone know if you can onlinebine coupons at Toys R Us? I have a $5 off $25 purchase and a 15% off mobile coupon..can these be used together?

  10. KimbaS

Off thread–SORRY! Help, please! I need to return a $267 Kohl’s order I haven’t received yet (in fulfillment)…should I not spend the Kohl’s cash that came with it ($50) so I can get a full refund, or will my refund be given less the $50 Kohl’s cash even if I don’t spend it? Confused! Thank you Hip friends!

    • Brooke

Hi! If you go on Kohl’s website, there’s a section in the FAQ part, that deals with returns and Kohl’s cash.

    • emma

HI, if you spend the kohls cash, they”ll deduct it from your refund. If you don’t spend the kohls cash, you’ll get back your $267

      • KimbaS

        Thanks Ladies!

  11. Heather M

I’m bummed that there is only 1 page of deals for Babies R Us in the ad! Does anybody know if BRU usually has more deals or is that it? We are expecting our first in January and I hoped they would have some bargains!

    • Moria

      That’s about normal for them.

    • Ruthanne

I agree with the other onlinement, this is about right for BRU. Their big ticket items for Black Friday are the car seats and their diapers/wipes.

      • Jani

Hi, I don’t see car seats listed in this ad…do they go online ? I am looking for convertible car seat and high chair ..dont’ see any deal yet..

  12. Ann

How does stacking coupon works for Toys R Us?

Can you stack manufacture coupon plus in-store coupon?

Can you stack price match with manufacture coupon and/or in-store coupon?

  13. carrie

Last year they had an early day of sales for their rewards members, so I went and picked up the train table. I think I received the info in an e-mail. It seems all the advertised items were out in the middle of the aisles.

  14. Tiffany

Does anyone know if Walmart has said they are going to honor price matching on BF ads this year yet? I live in a town with only Walmart and TRU is 45 minutes away. Going for old fashion Christmas this year with no video games etc. Sure love these board game deals!!

  15. Dollbaby's mom

Does anybody know when the actual sales paper will be released? It used to be Thanksgiving day for Friday but now that the sales are starting on Thursday I’m not sure when to expect it in the papers?

    • Julie

Last year a lot of ads were in the day before Thanksgiving.

      • mel

Last year, my Wednesday paper had all of the Thanksgiving Day/BF ads.

        • Dollbaby's mom

          Thanks alot!

    • Anna

I just read some papers will charge for the ads like the Chicago trib I think it was

      • cbeths

Our Thanksgiving paper (with all the ads) are the same price as the Sunday paper (also with ads.) During the week the paper is $1 cheaper… so I guess on some level they are charging for the ads…or they just know people will pay it.

  16. Suzanne H

Can you do a price match at Toys R Us and then use a coupon? Just got a mobile coupon for 15% off of a REGULARLY priced toy. Would they consider a price match a “sale” or “promo” – also, can you use R Us Rewards with a coupon? Just got one and it doesn’t say. Thanks.

    • Holly

you can either price match or use a store coupon but you can not do both

      • Suzanne H

        Thanks!

  17. cwalker

Last year i got the thomas wooden train table online on black friday for $99. Hope that helps anyone looking to buy it but not wanting to wait in line!

    • shabana

Thank you!! That is the only thing I’ve been wanting to get this year but realllly didn’t want to go fight the crazy people! Lol

  18. J

Last couple years I was able to score a great deal on Earth’s Best baby food (assorted cases of stage 1 and 2 only) at both ToysRUs and BabiesRUs, but this particular deal was only available in store, however I took my chances and went in the afternoon after the crowd dissipated and they still had plenty (both years). All of the other deals I wanted I was able to buy online, however the checkout process was a bit difficult and took awhile. Items kept disappearing from my cart – I reonlinemend you separately keep track of item numbers for what you are adding. Same thing happened on Black Friday on kohls.online and macys.online – according to their customer service connections were poor due to high traffic.

  19. Moria

Collin, you have a typo near the top. The ad shows games such as Cootie, Memory, etc as $5, but you typed them as $4.

    • Destinie

I was just searching the onlinements for this! Is this a price match with ad type of thing or just a typo? Thank you!!!

  20. Emilee

If you look at the ad, certain things say “in store only.” I’m thinking the rest will be available for that price online.. maybe… hopefully

  21. Unknown

Don’t know if this will work I’m not using it RENT 1, GET 1 FREE D364KQTT by 11/16/2014 11:59 p.m. CST

    • Unknown

D’OH! for got to mention it’s a redbox code

  22. Rose

I’ve been hoping to see a deal on LeapTV & its games, but there seem to be none this Black Friday. ):

    • Anna

There aren’t usually too many on brand new game systems. People are always willing to spend the money for the newest toys. The best deals are for older products like the old leap pads etc

  23. melissa

Not sure where to post this, but has anyone received the free beer mug that was posted a while back?

  24. Laura

Can we price match these board games at walmart on black friday?…if so how do you go about this?

    • Sarah

      I have the same question!

  25. ZombieNikki

How can they even call this Black Friday? It’s starting late afternoon on Thursday. I’m really disappointed that all the stores have decided to open and have sales so early now. Am I supposed to kick my family out to go shop? Ridiculous. I usually love to get up early Friday to shop every year, but not anymore I guess. Hopefully online will have good deals!
