Sonic waiters/waitresses work for tips. Don’t forget to tip those hardworking people. And pay attention for workers when going thru the parking lot. My daughter has almost been hit more than once.
I never knew they worked for tips…
At the Sonic in California that I worked at, the car hops did not work for tips. They got paid like everyone else (minimum wage) and tips were just extra.
I totally understand your point and that you should tip but this is why I don’t go to Sonic anymore. I don’t like feeling pressured to tip when I go through the drive through.
Sonic carhops/cooks/etc all get paid like anyone else at a fast-food restaurant…minimum wage…which sucks…but it is not “just tips”
What? I don’t think sonic waitress work only for tips/ a friend of my daughters works there they get min wage /he would never work if it was just for tips. Anyways, some of us we do tip!
