Walmart: Possible Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser Starter Kit Clearance = Better Than Free Deal

Wow! I’ve received a couple emails regarding select Glade Expression Oil Diffuser Starter Kits and Refills in Lavender/Juniper and Fuji Apple/Cardamom Spice scents being on clearance at Walmart! Check out the emails I received:

“Just found these on clearance at my Walmart. Not sure if it’s national but these would be free after the $5 coupon you posted about previously. And the refills are only $2.50. There was a sign the apple scent was on clearance to. But that scent was all gone. The pineapple and mangosteen was not on clearance.”

“I found this in a grocery cart by the air fresheners at Walmart today, marked clearance and listed at $2. However, I see that they only charged me a $1 for it. GOOD DEAL! They had this scent only marked down. The Fuji Apple & cardamom spice scent only.”

marked on clearnace 1.00 in ohio. plus, every box of starter kits has a coupon for a new refill for 1.00 making them free.

Heather, where in Ohio are you at? I am near Columbus and would run to Walmart if I thought they would have them, the nearest supercenter is about 20 mins away.

You can check item availability on walmart’s website. Just search for the item and then click on the “find in store” button and type in your zip code. It should show you stores in the area and whether the product is in stock. Using that has saved me a trip or two!

In Wisconsin about a week ago I found them on clearance for $4 and the refills were $1. The starter sets also had the $1 off refill coupons that Heather mentioned.

i know. what i meant was if the starter kits are just priced at $5, or if they are lower. because the picture only shows refills for $2.50

i got the apple scent a week ago, on clearance for $5 – so free 🙂 used all 10 of my coupons! (& yes, there were still a bit left!)

I manage to pick up one lavender scent this sunday and just opened the box there is three $1 coupons inside the box. Are the other scents on clearance too or just the lavender kit?

LOL, this would never work at my Walmart. They will probably arrest me on the spot for trying to get overage…even though it’s in their policy. 🙁 Good luck to everyone else! I hope you guys find alot of them on clearance! They smell really nice!! 🙂

Anyone ever been over taxed by walmart. When I use coupons for free items at walmart they charge me taxes for the total before coupons. I purchased 2 of these refilled and one kit useing coupons on all my pretax total was. 98 yet they charged me. 75 tax. Anyone know if this leagal. This never happen at cvs or kmart.

here in GA that’s the norm. always pay full tax on the pre-coupon amount. always been that way as far back as i can remember. i imagine it’s pretty legal otherwise i get robbed at every store i go to. hth

You’re responsible for tax on the full amount BEFORE coupon. It’s the norm.

In Virginia you pay tax on the pre-coupon amount as well. I think that’s pretty standard in most states. In some cases, it will say on the coupon that the customer is responsible for taxes.

Att e Walmart here in Philadelphia, PA the fragrance mist rang up for $1.00 for me last Saturday. I bought 3 and had $6 in overage applied to the rest of my items!

I found these the blue n yellow… 1$ mist 5$ oil kit. 2.50 oil refill kit. Not to bad.. my coupons free items but the had very limited supply. And weren’t in air freshener isle… In Midwest IL
