JCPenney Salon: *HOT* FREE Kids’ Hair Cuts for the Month of August (Grades K-6th)

   I was very dissapointed in the salon staff. I have 3 kids and was very excited about the free back to school haircuts. I called and scheduled an appointment and was given one for the following week-great. Well when I showed up my daughter was scheduled with one stylist and my boys were with another. My daughters stylist came right over and talked to me about what we were doing and only took my daughter 5 minutes after her scheduled appt time, which is ok with me. Well the stylist who was supposed to cut my boys hair, never came over and 20 minutes after their scheduled appt time, I said something to another worker. I proceded to sit for another 10 minutes before another stylist finally took the boys (which she was sure to tell me without a smile that she was doing me a favor). Another frustrating thing was that other customers (with free back to school haircuts) that came in 30 minutes after me, were taken before my boys. I never did see the stylist that was supposed to cut my boys hair, no explanation or apology and the one that did help us was not nice (which I said thank you to repeatedly). I will never go back to the Austintown Plaza Salon again. I have never had such rude service before.

   I called, and my local salon said it was not free, but cost $10. 🙁 Maybe I’ll just give them a trim myself.
