   I have a question….yesterday I did the Tide/Gain etc. spend 30, get 10ECB. It printed although I was .57 cents short….but my receipt showed I still need .57 to get it. Ever run into this?

  sometimes the CVS deals will print the extra bucks a few cents short of the stated amount. it will not however print again if you spend 57 cents.

  Today I purchased the M&M’s (4 bags) and Autum Mix (1 bag) my showed that I only purchased $11.90 but gave me the award. This has never happened before – weird.

   Luckily I grabbed these late Saturday evening when my CVS starts their Sunday sales 🙂 of course there 3 different types of 2 packs on sale, and only 2 of each, so they’re probably all gone now… my CVS always runs out of everything that gives extrabucks!!!

  I would explain that it says “Redeemable at Walmart” not “Redeemable ONLY at Walmart.”

  (If you can explain it without sounding snarky: Your money is redeemable at Walmart too, does that mean CVS won’t accept it?)

  but CVS q&a to their policy says they won’t accept manuf coupons with other retailer names on them. Store manager @ the CVS I like to shop said manuf are cracking down, and not reimbursing stores when they are meant for the store that’s on the coupon. I explained I was under the impression if the coupon said ‘redeemable at [this] store’, it was still a manuf coupon and reimbursed, but if it said ‘redeemable only at’, then I could only use it at said store. He said nope. Manuf and stores agree to terms, and the store the coupon is meant to be redeemed, looses out when its redeemed at another store. And now manuf are starting to refuse stores that accept them.
  Unless someone can say my manager is blowing smoke, for the time being I’ll just not bother using logo’d coupons.

  I hadn’t heard that and I didn’t have any issues at my local CVS on Sunday when I used the $2 Reach coupon.

  If my store fussed about it (right or wrong) I would probably skip the deal as well – a dollar or two is not worth the effort of arguing with a cashier/manager.

  i agree …i have such cold cashiers at CVS that I would not even dare to pull out that coupon…even if they accept it they ll not be happy about it and again they ll look in a weird way at me……
  God how I long for self cash register like stop and shop has or home depot ……..where You do not get looks…
  and my Raid Aid has always the same cashier always,always everytime i go there she is there and we both dont like each other ….yesterday i was at Rite Aid and nice guy showed up/cashier/new i literally pushed lady before me so she end up with that cashier and i jumped to get to that guy……lol

  If you read the fine print, the second sentence reads “Redeem at food, drug or discount stores accepting coupons.” That should stop the arguing dead in its tracks.

  Sean, I realize that and pointed it out. The problem is the store logo. The manager said CVS is not getting reimbursed from manuf coupons that say ‘redeem at Walmart’ or whatever store logo is shown on the coupon. I’ve always been able to use logo’d coupons in the past…. but I’m not going to fight or argue over $2 when the manager has the final say with accepting a coupon or not.

  My cashier questioned the “Walmart” on the coupon but when I said I thought it was legit becuz it said manufacture cpn she asked her manager who went and asked store manager and they agreed that it was okay to use since it didn’t say “ONLY” Walmart. I’m fortunate to have a very cpn friendly CVS.

   It looks like the 50 cents M&M coupon is printing everyday from the magic coupon machine. I would think if you collected them everyday, and used several on one transaction(one for each bag), it would make an even sweeter deal.

  If you can’t do them in one transaction, I would think you could break them up into smaller transactions. Maybe one transaction with the Pretzel M&M’s ($1 mfg coupon & 50 cent CVS coupon). Then a second transaction with two bags and the $1.50/2 and one of the 50 cent CVS coupons. Then a third transaction exactly like the second. CVS transactions are cumulative during the week, so all three transactions would count towards the $5 ECB (as long as they are all done by Saturday). That would get you a net of $2 for the 5 bags. Unless, of course, you are lucky enough to have 5 $1 pretzel M&M coupons. In five different transactions using a 50 cents CVS coupon with each $1 mfg coupon, your net would be zero.

    All I got this morning was a .50 m/m coupon. Still did good with all my freebies, I had John Freida hair color free coupon (12.99), bigif coke from mycokerewards, and I got free Dawn and Swiffer I got free with mf coupon and the $2 extra care bucks, so all I had to pay for was the Reinventing beauty magazine. Fun!!

    The CVS I went to didn’t have any Reach toothbrushes unfortunately – I don’t think they stock them at that store. I’ll have to try some other CVS’s.

    6 FREE toothbrushes at my CVS!! The value pack that contains 3 toothbrushes was marked $3.99 and was part of the extrabuck incentive (with a limit of 2) and they were right next to the packages containing 2. YEAH!!! I love FREE!!!

    My last 2 trips to CVS the machine has not been working. The cashier actually told me someone forgot to order the paper for the machine so they put a sign on it saying Out of Order so no one would onlineplain. At least she was honest!

  Why don’t you just print the CVS coupon machine coupons at home? It costs some ink, but it’s better than missing out on a deal you want.

  I believe you can choose which coupons you want to print at home, so you won’t have to waste ink and paper on a coupon you don’t want. For some weird reason there were NO coupons listed for my card when I just check though, but I’m guessing that is because it was 12:05 am and it hadn’t set today’s coupons yet. I hope I’m going to have something useful from the machine when I go to CVS today. 🙂

  The only coupons that ever show in my online acct are % off coupons or $/$$ (which have the option to send to card too) Oh, and the quarterly & beauty bonus bucks you can print online too. But I”m not aware of magic machine coupons showing up in your account to print?

    The magic coupon machine gave me an extra $1.50 ecb! Was going in for trash bags and NyQuil (my boyfriend’s brother-in-law is down and out SICK!) with $2 ecb bonus in hand…NyQuil is 2/$12, earn $3 ecb. Minus one $1.50/1 coupon and one $1.00/1, extra $1.50 ecb= 2 large bottles of NyQuil for $3.00! And somehow got an extra $1 ecb with my receipt…maybe from my Green Bag Tag? 🙂
