  I love the Gevalia coffee! The coffee pot is great too, I used the one I got from them for about 4 years of constant use. Very tasty high quality coffee.

  I wasn’t thrilled with their coffee but it may have been the blend that I ordered. I am sticking to traditional roast this time. Plus after I put my order in it said they have a money back gurantee on their coffee. I have never had one of their coffeemakers before but I have heard they are great. Hope that helps 🙂

  I looked around and tried Amazon…and people claimed that the coffee maker does not last long and has a tendency to break. Bummer :o(

  We did this deal several months ago, and my husband has been very happy with the coffee maker. He liked the coffee, but said it’s too expensive to buy on a regular basis. You can adjust your delivery settings a lot, so I set our account up to ship 1 box of coffee every 6 months, just as a special treat. You could cancel the shipments altogether, too, if you want.

  Another perk of this deal – if you refer a friend and they sign up for the deal, you get a second coffee maker that brews directly into two individual travel mugs! We don’t use that one very often, but even if you don’t want it, you could give it as a gift. All in all, we are very happy with that $20 spent!!

  Same for me! I ordered coffee from the back in 09 and customer service told me i can’t order any more specials until 2 yrs after my cancellation which was in april of 09! That is crazy. Oh well

   I have done it 2x before and then cancelled.
   It is a great way to get a new coffeemaker, I get scared when I don’t have an extra one, I fear breakage and then no coffee!

    I highly reonlinemend this Gevalia offer…I’ve done a couple of their offers in the past and they never give you a problem over cancelling, there’s nothing to buy after the initial purchase and I’ve been really happy with the things I’ve gotten from them. I’ve got this same coffee maker now and it’s great. I couldn’t have bought one this nice for the price plus it came with coffee and a travel mug! I also got the insulated carafe from them another time and loved it! I tell everyone who needs a new coffeemaker to get a Gevalia deal! 🙂

    Does anyone know if they ever offer deals on the t-discs for the Tassimo coffee maker? Or where the best place to buy them is? I recieved a Tassimo for Christmas and I love it, but the T-discs are super expensive!

  It appears that you can do either, but to protect yourself, you might consider cancelling electronically, then following up with calling in your cancellation. Not saying this is needed from experience or anything, just a precautionary step I would take.

    I don’t mean to be a “hater” – just giving my opinion. I ordered this last year through one of Colin’s posts. I had a hard time canceling – they continued to send me shipments even though I canceled well within the time frame they state. I made several phone calls to them – and their agents hardly spoke English, to try and get it resolved. I ended up having to file a dispute with my cc onlinepany. Took a while, but it was finally resolved without me paying anything extra.
    High pressure to continue service – it was a PITA.

  Me too! I didn’t have to dispute with my cc, but they gave me a hard time on the phone. Eventually I was really stern with the guy and spoke very plainly and he gave up and canceled it.

  I also had hard time cancelling. I referred a friend,so my friend and I could get the free gifts. They didn’t send it right away,and kept sending the coffee. When I called to cancel they said I wouldn’t get the free gift and I had to wait until my next shipment, which wasn’t free. All in all, I paid to much or something that was supposed to be free.

    Beware of Gevalia! What seems like a good deal isn’t exactly a good deal. I bought a similar offer that was $15 for a coffeemaker and 2 boxes of coffee. Then I was told to change my card number by family members after they told me that Gevalia would send me coffee and charge me for it EVEN THOUGH I never ordered it! So I called the bank and found out that Gevalia posted 15 dollars TWICE, therefore charging me 30 dollars! So be careful…

    After reading some posts on here about Gevalia not canceling orders it made me apprehensive about the whole deal. I have already placed my order but I called to try and cancel. I was told by a very non english speaking man that I have to wait 2-3 days before I can cancel and then asked very rudely why did I even place the order if all I was going to do was cancel. Very rude! I can already see it is going to be an ordeal to cancel 🙁

    I got this deal a few months ago and loved the coffee maker! The coffee was pretty good and so is the tea. I actually called today and cancelled my plan without any problems at all!! Just make sure you know that when you buy this, they automatically sign you up to receive coffee shipments every so many weeks so you have to change or unsubscribe quickly because it will onlinee out of your checking account!

    Got my coffee maker and 4 pkgs of coffee today. The coffee maker is better quality than the Black & Decker one it replaced. I brewed some Mocha coffee and am in love. Yummy! I already adjusted my shipments so I will not receive more until June unless I choose to change my delivery schedule.

    Just received my Gevalia package today. Coffeemaker is quite nice, using it in my classroom. Ordered with a Visa Giftcard, so repeat charges shouldn’t be a problem after I cancel. Though, it’s so nice I might not.

    I just wanted to share something with everyone in case you’re having the same issue. I have tried on numerous occasions to cancel my Gevalia order using their online form and have been unsuccessful. At first, I just figured the site was down but after a week, I was still having the same problem. I would fill out the “cancel order” form, hit submit and it would just sit there. So I started thinking that it may be done on purpose to prompt the person to call (and talk you out of it) rather than cancel online. Soooo, I selected “inquiry-billing” instead and asked to cancel my account in the onlinements box and what do you know? It went through just fine. Just has to make you wonder……doesn’t it?
