In the past 10 years, have you owned or purchased a Siri-enabled device? If so, then this is a must read!

If you have a Siri-enabled device (think iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook, iMac, HomePod, iPod touch, or Apple TV) and you experienced an unintended Siri activation during a confidential or private onlinemunication between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024, you may be entitled to up to a $20 settlement per device via the Lopez Voice Assistant Settlement.

Hip Tip: Check your inbox/spam/trash for an email titled “Lopez Voice Assistant Class Action Settlement” from the email address “[email protected]” as this email contains your unique Claimant Identification Code and Confirmation Code that you’ll need to use to submit your claim.

Follow these steps if you received an email with a claimant code:

  • Head here to begin submitting your claim
  • Enter the Claimant ID Code and Confirmation Code found in the email (as mentioned above) and click Login
  • onlineplete the contact information
  • Indicate the number of Siri Devices for which you are submitting the claim – there is a limit of 5 devices that can be claimed.
  • Select the preferred payment method – either eCheck or Direct Deposit.
  • For each Siri Device that you are submitting a claim, you will then be required to attest under penalty of perjury that you meet the settlement criteria.
  • Claims must be submitted online by no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 2, 2025.

Follow these steps if you did not receive an email with a claimant code but believe you qualify to make a claim:

  • Head here to begin submitting your claim
  • Click “New Claim” to onlineplete a Claim Form.
  • onlineplete the contact information
  • Submit claims for up to 5 Siri Devices, but you must provide the Serial number and Model number for each device
  • Select the preferred payment method – either eCheck or Direct Deposit.
  • For each Siri Device that you are submitting a claim, you will then be required to attest under penalty of perjury that you meet the settlement criteria.
  • Claims must be submitted online by no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 2, 2025.

    Is it just me, or is anyone else reluctant to give out bank info for a direct deposit? I have not idea what an Echeck is, but I can’t imagine with the e before the word it too would be a direct deposit of sorts.
