Extra tips for making cranberry slow cooker turkey breast:

  • You could easily double this recipe for a larger group and use two turkey breasts!
  • Before starting, make sure your turkey breast is thawed and keep the strings on. It helps keep it together. Remove the strings and slice after it’s cooked.
  • Be sure your turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. I use an instant-read thermometer to check.

Green beans are not on ingredients list. Can’t watch try this. Thanks.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Whoops thanks for catching that Kay. It’s a 16 oz. bag of fresh trimmed green beans. 🙂

  2. Becca

Thanks for sharing Lina. Definitely going to try this – I think my husband will love it. PS I love your shorts -can you share the brand with us? Thanks!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      • becca

        thanks Lina -they are adorable!!!

  3. Ihearthip

It looks fabulous. Trying to think of a sub for the onion soup mix. Any ideas?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! You might try subbing in onion powder or fresh sliced onion as an alternative to the soup mix. 🤗

      • Ihearthip

Thanks. I need to avoid the onion altogether. Maybe celery or apples with some butter would work.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh! Sorry for the confusion. I spotted this recipe that details a homemade onion soup recipe – maybe you could omit the onions and use the rest for a similar flavor profile with the beef bouillon and spices? Hope this helps! 🤗

          • Ihearthip

It does help. Thanks for the tip!

            • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

So glad! Yay! You’re welonlinee! 💕

  4. KB

This looks delicious! I’d love to make it for Thanksgiving. Do you think doubling it would be enough for 6 adults and 3 kids?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey KB! It may depend on how much each person eats; however, you could easily double this recipe for a larger group and use two turkey breasts! ❤️

      • Cammie

I had been thinking of trying one of these turkey breasts for thanksgiving to make life easier but also thought we might need 2. Would 2 fit in a 6 quart crockpot was my concern. Is the one in the picture a 6 quart size? It lookslike it would fit two.
There are no deals on these boneless butterballs? Everywhere I looked they are about $12.50.

        • Lina

Yes two would for sure fit! Great idea. More green beans would fit also.

  5. Karen McElvaney

  9. Linda Collins

Is there any way this can be cooked in the oven ?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Linda. Yes – you could do that! Be sure to prep everything the same and then just follow the suggested roasting times on the packaging! 🤗

  10. Claire Akerman

So delicious! I made it for an early Thanksgiving today along with a regularly roasted turkey breast, just in case. lol. Everyone loved this. It was so moist and flavorful. I did cut the soup mix down to a half envelope, but otherwise everything was the same.
