I choose to believe that these won’t be so cheap as we might want to take advantage of an extra deal or clearance and pick up a spare, for the freezer, to hold for next year (or the next time the turkey cravings hit, before next Thanksgiving).😀

I have cooked several turkeys from frozen. This afternoon I did a pork roast from frozen. Just bake 1.5 times the normal baking time. The challenge with the turkey is getting the giblets out. I usual throw it in the oven with them and take the turkey out after awhile, take the neck and giblets out then. . Always use a meat thermometer to check for doneness!

Thanks for the heads up on your experience on cooking from frozen! Great tips!

  4. Nikki

Yes, I will try this! I’m never gonna to be a turkey-from-scratch gal. It’s either this or Popeye’s turkey.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hope you love it! I want to try it too!

  5. SavingsMama

Now this is a good idea! Honestly, I’d love to see them in the turkey handouts they do for the holidays to serve families in-need. A small apartment kitchen, for example, isn’t the place for dealing with giblets and such lol. Yay Butterball!
