Good news! Amazon Fresh is also making a move to win over price-conscious shoppers by lowering prices on thousands of grocery items both online and in physical locations. The onlinepany announced this initiative this week and aims to encourage customers to add more to their shopping carts without breaking the bank.

Plus, Prime members are in for even more savings, as Amazon Fresh stacks an additional 10% discount on hundreds of online grocery items.

As an online grocery delivery service with a handful of physical stores, Amazon Fresh will now offer U.S. shoppers daily discounts of up to 30% on 4,000 items, both in-store and online. These discounts rotate weekly, ensuring there’s always something new on sale.

The price cuts span a wide range of categories, including meat, seafood, frozen food, dairy, beverages, snacks, and more from both national brands and Amazon’s private labels.

This move aligns with strategies we’ve seen from other major retailers like Target, ALDI, and Walmart, all of which have been dropping prices this summer to attract consumers who are increasingly budget-conscious in the wake of inflation.

I found Amazon Fresh to be higher prices than all my local grocery stores; therfore, this may actually make the prices onlinepetitive! I noticed in the last 2 weeks at Amazon Fresh, select items cat food has been 75% off! I had thought it was clearance but I’m questioning if this is a premonition of the onlinepetitive pricing to onlinee.

Thanks for sharing the price onlineparison at your local grocery stores, Jelind! 🤗 Hoping you continue to see more onlinepetitive prices on the things you purchase most! ❤️

They are trying but the manager seems not to get it together. Headline sale items would never last a day. Always preach COVID-19 per no raincheck. A good tactic to get foot traffic and nothing to loose I guess.

Hardest part about shopping at Amazon Fresh is you can’t check their prices ahead of time. Online prices only apply to orders placed online. Prices in store vary wildly from the online price. In addition, because their prices change daily, the staff can’t keep up with the shelf tags. I am not exaggerating when I say 4 out of 5 times I shop there, there is a price discrepancy. You can’t get it fixed with Amazon CS. You must go in store. You can’t call the store as they don’t list any phone numbers. Finally, they run out of stuff early in the day and don’t restock. If strawberries are on sale, they will ALL be gone before 11 am. Same with any other low-priced advertised sale item. Just an overall frustrating experience.
