The Dole Fruit Lawsuit Has Been Settled & You May Get Up to $18
Have you bought Dole brand or Dole Fruit Bowls in the past 6 years? Here’s the scoop on the class action lawsuit.
A class action lawsuit against Dole has been settled.
The well-established fruit onlinepany, Dole, has found themselves involved in a class action lawsuit with claims of false advertising. A recent class action lawsuit, Blankenship v. Dole Packaged Foods, LLC, alleged that the fruit onlinepany mislabeled its fruit products as being “in 100% juice” or “in 100% fruit juice.”
It turns out that the fruit packages contained trace amounts of ascorbic acid and/or citric acid. Dole contends the term was used to distinguish it from fruit stored in syrup or water and not an exhaustive statement of the product’s ingredients. Instead of hashing it out in court, the two parties decided to settle.
Though the court may not have ruled in anyone’s favor, consumers are still entitled to a cash payout. 💵
