Head on over to Amazon where they are offering this Franklin Sports 24″ MLB Kids Foam Baseball Bat + Ball Set for just $6.29 (regularly $14.99) – the lowest price ever! Note that the color you receive will be chosen at random.

That seems like a sweet deal as Walmart sells the same baseball sets for $9.97.

This foam bat has a soft rubber foam barrel with a blow-mold inner core to keep it lightweight, perfect for little ones just learning how to swing! Plus it includes a large 3.5″ foam ball that is both easy to throw and hit.

Check out what parents/grandparents are saying…

Bought this for my four-year-old daughter. I love that it’s foam so I don’t have to worry about the ball hitting her. She was so excited to have her own baseball bat!

My grandson (age 5) loves this bat and ball set. He’s been using it since he was three. I have one in my house and one in the car. You never know when boredom will set in and he needs to get a little baseball action!! It’s lightweight so I can put it in my backpack and carry it to the park. When other kids see us playing, they want to try it too. I’ve reonlinemended it to many parents.

This bat and ball onlinebo is a great starter set! Don’t get me wrong it could still do damage to glass and other fragile materials, but beats practicing with a standard bat and ball. I’m the first to admit I’m no pro athlete, but it didn’t take me too long to throw the ball in a manner that my son (7 yrs) could hit and when it was my turn to be batter he learned to throw a nice pitch, too.

Just to clarify: he’s never been on a baseball or t-ball team. But experience has told me: try the sport out at home, before you spend a fortune putting your kids into something, you’re later forcing them to attend. Over the summer it was nice to play with the set, it provided good family time and child/parent interaction.

There’s more fun for the kiddos over here!
