This easy sheet pan chicken and veggies uses a delicious sesame dressing for convenience and is super onlineforting and fast to throw together.

sheet pan meal using costco chicken and veggies

Dinner is done with just 3 ingredients, thanks to Costco!

The other day I made up an easy 3 ingredient meal idea using Costco items that my family loved and had to share. This is not fancy, but it’s super onlineforting and perfect for evenings when you can simply pull these items from the freezer to bake in the oven.

This chicken sheet pan meal utilizes roasted chicken tenders from the freezer section, the Kirkland stir-fry veggies, and this delicious Kewpie sesame marinade. It turned out so GOOD! Roasting frozen veggies is the way to go! The texture is so yummy.

I will say too, we think these Tyson roasted chicken breast strips are very tasty. I feel like they would be a great addition to quick salads, pasta, wraps, and other easy meals.

This chicken and vegetable recipe could not be easier!

In fact it really doesn’t need a recipe. All I did was add some veggies and chicken to a sheet pan and tossed in a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and some of the sesame dressing. Just be sure to not overcrowd the pan. You can basically follow the chicken instructions on the bag for oven time, and stirring the contents halfway through helps it cook evenly.

I really enjoy the sesame dressing, but if you would prefer using a teriyaki sauce or Japanese BBQ sauce instead I am sure that would be excellent too. Serving over rice would be a great addition too!

roasted veggies and chicken sheet pan meat with costco items

What an easy sheet pan chicken meal!

I loved the texture of the veggies when roasted and this chicken is much better tasting than I expected. We enjoyed this as an easy low effort meal. I have used the sesame dressing as a marinade when grilling chicken before, and it’s great in this idea too!

Have you tried making a bunch of grilled cheese sandwiches on a sheet pan yet?

I love the new layout of the app, but I’ve noticed I can no longer put recipes under “my cookbook” it only says “my list”. Did you get rid of the different folders?

    • Emily (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there, frecklelily! Thank you for mentioning this, and unfortunately, it looks like a fix is needed on our end to update the button to read “My Recipes” instead of “My List”. We do still have both folders available to make it easier to access deals and recipes separately, and as an aside, we recently changed the folder name from “My Cookbook” to “My Recipes”. Our app team is looking into this and we hope to have this updated soon!

Quick and yummy dinner idea. Question: how do you keep your sheet pans looking so good? Mine get gross and gunky. I have to use aluminum foil when using them.

  3. Margarie

Great recipe! What brand of sheet pan is in the pic & is it made of aluminum? I am looking for a stainless steel sheet pan with no or less heavy metals, so it doesn’t get leached into the food while cooking at high temperatures. Thanks!

Do you thaw the chicken tenders before you cook them?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Mary! You don’t need to thaw them first. You can just pull them right out of the freezer and follow the cooking instructions on the bag! 🙌💖
