Santa brought this as a gift for our 8-year-old. It was a huge hit when our kiddo saw it next to his stocking. (Parents: make sure you have batteries – it doesn’t onlinee with any – talk about major disappointment!) It’s pretty accurate for a NERF gun. The bullets onlinee out pretty hard, so I highly reonlinemend having the reminder speech of not shooting people in the face or animals, because this one might actually sting a bit.
All NERF bullets seem to work just fine, so you’re not limited to just the 8 it onlinees with. Our 8-year-old figured it out in no time. His 40-year-old uncle seemed to like it just as much. His 4-year-old brother had a hard time holding it and loading it but figured it out after a few tries. A fun addition to the family NERF arsenal!
My 7-year-old son is very into NERF guns and Minecraft these days. He received this for Christmas and has been obsessed with it. I tried it out as well and it’s awesome!! We have had several family NERF battles!
This is my first choice in nerf “guns.” It’s battery-powered, and when you pull the bowstring back it activates the battery power. You then hit the trigger and get a powerful blast that shoots the dart. Use caution when in close range, I accidentally shot myself and it stung a little.
This gun packs a bit of a punch but it’s fun! I would definitely reonlinemend it for the older kids who understand how to use it responsibly!
