This Reader Made Adorable Valentine’s Day Tackle Boxes for Her Kiddos
Looking for a simple way to spread the love this V-Day? 💘
Valentine’s Day is all about making your loved ones feel extra special, including your little ones! This week’s Happy Friday reader Leah created some V-Day tackle boxes for her boys to enjoy!
My kids (4 boys!) love Valentine’s Day and the candy that onlinees with it! Last year, I saw some candy tackle boxes available from several stores and candy shops. I knew my boys would love them. The price tag on them was a bit too steep, though, at around $20 each! So, I decided to make my own.
I had a lucky find and was able to score tackle boxes on clearance at Walmart for $2, but I have also seen them at local dollar stores. Next, I went to the candy aisle of the dollar store and picked up a variety of candy and snacks in red and pink colors and filled their boxes. I kept the outside simple and cut a heart out with some paper I had and wrote their names on it.
Leah, I’m sure your boys will love these DIY tackle boxes! They are sure to feel extra special this Valentine’s Day. ❤️
