Tired of cold coffee?

Unless you enjoy iced coffee, there’s nothing worse than hot coffee getting cold. Luckily, this week’s Happy Friday reader Ali is sharing how she reheats her coffee and tea while enjoying it all day long!

I love having hot tea to sip at work. I am frugal and won’t spend $129 on the electric mugs, so I found a solution. I use a candle warmer to keep my mug warm, and my tea is always the perfect temperature! I’ve used this for years. The warmer maintains a constant temperature; I don’t have to reheat my mug multiple times. Happy Friday!

Ali, we’re such fans of this hack! We’ve actually done it in reverse – using the coffee warmer for our candles. 😆 We’re big fans of coffee and candle warmers, especially during our work days. Whether you’re in the office or work from home as we do at H2S, these warmers are life-changing!

Such a creative way to make use of what you already have. I have a mug warmer that I purchased early during the pandemic when it looked like we would be home for a while, and one of the descriptions for it says warming plate for tea, milk, and candle. It looks similar in that it is flat like your candle warmer except that it has a temperature setting, timers, and auto-shutoff which I really like. I’m also not inclined to spend over $100 on an electric mug. My warmer allows me the flexibility to use any mug.

Oh cool! Good to know yours lists so many uses! Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Funny because I use a mug warmer for my candlesโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      LOL! That’s a great idea too! ๐Ÿ™Œ

A contigo travel mug does the same, keeps things hot for like 6-8 hours. And doesnโ€™t need electricity. It keeps coffee and water hot all day in the car even when im out in freezing temps.

This is also a great idea especially when traveling! It’s always nice to have options so I’ll take in both ideas.

I use a stainless steel water bottle to keep my drink hot and pour into my mug to drink.

Thanks for sharing how you keep your drinks hot throughout the day, Sue! โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿค—

Used to use that years ago and still have a mug warmer, but after a while, the coffee just doesn’t taste as fresh to me. I use a thermos now for coffee and just pour enough to keep fresh. I really do not like stale coffee, so my opinion.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Glad you’ve found a method of keeping your coffee fresh-tasting and hot throughout the day, Deb E! โ˜•๏ธ Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ’—
