Perfect! My older boy is 7 and in a 6/7(S) – he would also have fit an 8(M), but it would have been a little baggy. My little guy is transitioning between 3T and 4T, so he’s in a 4/5 (XS), which IS a little baggy, but still onlinefortable and good for layering. The “brown” is a great caramel/rust color that was perfect for our photos (we had intended fall foliage, but the shoot was postponed and it ended up being snowy instead – the color really pops!). I love the cottony feel of the sweater – no scratchies from the boys – and they wash well. I wash them on cold. I already purchased up a size in a different color/pattern for next year!
