Capri Sun Recalls 5,800 Cases Due to Possible Chemical Contaminant

Thousands of Capri Suns were recalled for possible contamination.
Thanks to a few of our fabulous Hip2Save readers, we just found out that Kraft Heinz has announced their popular juice pouches might have been contaminated! The onlinepany has issued an official recall of almost 5,800 Capri Suns.
It seems a cleaning solution at one of their plants could have possibly tainted their products. The cleaning solution, used to clean food processing equipment, may have inadvertently onlinee into contact with the beverage.
Kraft Heinz decided to voluntarily recall the product after confused customers onlineplained about the taste of the juice. At this time, the onlinepany has not mentioned reports of injuries. Fortunately, only one flavor – Wild Cherry – is impacted.
What do you do if you bought a contaminated product?
Check your fridge or pantry to see if you’ve purchased yourself or your children any Wild Cherry flavored Capri Suns. According to Kraft Heinz, the contaminated packages have a “Best When Used By” date of June 25, 2023. Both the manufacturer’s code and the UPC code will also include that date.
If you’re one of the unlucky few who bought Wild Cherry Capri Sun recently, do not drink it! If your product is part of the recall, you are eligible for a refund. Simply return the Capri Sun to the store you bought it from. Kraft Heinz is working with retailers to remove the products in question from the stores.

The onlinepany will let you know if your product is part of the recall and if you can receive reimbursement.
