Boba is also vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and preservative-free.

Oh, this is sooo good! Easy to make, except that I boil the boba, which takes a little longer than microwaving it. I’m afraid it’ll make the boba/tapioca pearls hard and more chewy if I microwave it. Got it at Sam’s club yesterday, but it was $12.98, not $11.98. Maybe it’s regional since I live in California. Not sure how much I paid for this at Costco a month or two ago, but I remember thinking ” this is so good for a buck each.” So I guess it was $12 there. It’s just a hassle going to Costco looking for a parking space, unless I go around 7pm. Plus I spend less at Sam’s club. Costco has so much good stuff=temptation =$$$ 😉

Microwave it!! It tastes EQUALLY as soft and fresh as this bubble tea place called Xin Fu Tang who hand makes all their boba on premises for you to see. (Suuuuper mochi like)

I’m super picky about my boba too as I don’t like the tapioca pearls from ANY other place than Xin Fu Tang and these frozen bad boys here.

My kids love this! So easy to make & pretty good!

ooh. I’ll have to get these for my kids. My only wish is that they would make an unsweetened or less sweet version. these are always too sweet for me.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I feel ya, everybodyluvsmonkeys! ❤I’d go for one that was unsweetened, too!

You can add more liquid to the drink to dilute the brown sugar syrup. Tapioca pearls are always boiled and dropped into a simple sugar syrup so as to prevent them from sticking together. But the brown sugar bubbles are packaged with the flavor (sugar) itself, so that’s why it may seem too sweet.

Alternatively, you can also get the tapioca pearls from your local Asian grocery store and boil them yourself to drop immediately into your beverage after! That would keep them unsweetened for you and still get you the bubbles you like!

I’ve never heard of this. Is it ice cream? Is it a drink? I am definitely out of the loop. LOL. Do you eat/drink it warm or cold. Thanks so much.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welonlinee, Debbie! It seems you can enjoy it hot or cold. They list a variety of instructions and suggestions on the product packaging. I found that listed in the images on the product page. Hoping this helps! 🥰
