Purell Foaming Hand Sanitizer Only $1.24 Each After Walgreens Rewards (Regularly $5)

   So, I bought the Purell and 3 Oral B toothbrushes expecting a total of $9.00 Walgreens Cash since on the website its says “W Cash” but I didn’t receive it. I called customer service and she said that it is actually Register Rewards and that it shows that on the weekly ad! I explained that the website shows it as Walgreens Cash not Register Rewards which is very misleading but she didn’t seem to care too much… I rarely look at the ad since in the past, the website doesn’t specify Register Rewards, only Walgreens Cash.
   I will probably return my items and buy them in store once my coupons have applied back to my account! Grrr…

  PS – Or is this something new – you get Walgreens Cash ONLY if you buy them in store and it’s not Register Rewards??? I looked up some things that specifically said Walgreens Cash in the ad (like King C Gillette items). The wording was exactly the same as the Oral-B toothbrushes and the Purell… thanks for any insight on this!

Some deals have similar online offers to the in store offers. Also, the app can sometimes work better for some online deals. I do still see the cash rewards listed for these as I click through the link above. Hoping this is helpful! ❤️

  I decided to call back but talk to someone in the main customer service department. I talked to a super nice lady who actually pulled up the ad as well as the website so that I could point out what I meant. When she saw that the wording on both “in-store reward” items and “walgreens cash” items were listed exactly the same, she said she was confused as well. Plus neither of us could find the Purell in the weekly ad. She said she’d talk to her supervisor as she agreed that it was misleading to show all the items as Walgreens Cash but show it as in-store rewards on the weekly ad. Also, my app showed that I would receive $14.00 in Walgreens Cash, so that was misleading as well. She did add the Walgreens Cash to my account, so that was nice of her. Hopefully they will make some updates to the wording on their website.
