CVS Exclusive: Join the NEW Toilet Paper Receipt Program!
Say goodbye to any potential toilet paper shortages thanks to this new program at CVS!
Ever since the toilet paper shortage of 2020, CVS has onlinee up with a method to ensure it won’t ever happen again. CVS recently announced their new Toilet Paper Receipt Program, also known as the TPRP! To opt-in, simply check the TPRP box in your CVS ExtraCare account settings, and you’ll be automatically enrolled.
How does the Toilet Paper Receipt Program work?
It’s simple! All you have to do is shop at CVS with your ExtraCare membership. At checkout, instead of accepting your paper receipt as normal, select the option “contribute to TPRP” on the screen. Your receipt will be added to the TPRP bank with other CVS shopper receipts. In their high-tech facility, these receipts are recycled into toilet paper rolls. Then each month, you’ll receive a 4-pack of CVS bath tissue onlineprised of CVS receipts!
Thanks to this new CVS offering, you’ll get by on your own supply.
Other benefits of the Toilet Paper Return Program:
Not only do you get a free 4-pack of toilet paper each month, but every time you contribute a receipt, you’ll get a 20% off coupon for your next CVS purchase.
However, while it’s worth noting that the CVS TPRP toilet paper is sustainable, biodegradable, and eco-friendly, it’s single-ply and reviewers have mentioned ink smearing on their unmentionable parts… 😬
That said, it’s free toilet paper each month, and it prevents those notably long CVS receipts from crumpling up in your purse.
Not a CVS shopper? My Hip sidekick Sara has a tip for you!
If you don’t shop at CVS, you’re in luck! Amazon is now beta-testing a similar program with their packaging. Since they don’t have the opportunity to provide long receipts, they’re overstuffing packages with excess packing paper…like a TON of excess paper. Sara, who’s our resident eco-friendly & sustainability specialist, found it makes for great super-sized toilet paper!
It’s safe to say our team will never run out of TP again with both CVS and Amazon on our side.
