Minute Maid Juice Products Recalled in 8 States Due to Concern Over Metal Pieces
Minute Maid consumers, look out for this recall.
Minute Maid’s parent onlinepany, Coca-Cola, initiated a voluntary recall of Minute Maid products on November 10th because of the potential for contamination by foreign metal objects including metal washers or bolts.
It looks like only three varieties of the popular juice drinks were affected: Berry Punch, Strawberry Lemonade, and Fruit Punch. This recall is effective in eight states, so if you live in Pennsylvania, New York, Maine, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, New Hampshire, or North Carolina, this recall applies to you. As of now, there’s no evidence that other flavors or states have been impacted by the recall.
Are you thinking you might be affected?
If you have Minute Maid juices in the fridge, you’ll be able to tell based on the package info.
Here’s what to look for:
- Fruit Punch with a date of Jan. 5 and UPC code of 025000047732.
