Make Your Own Sandwich Dispenser With This Easy Life Hack!
Who knew you could DIY a sandwich dispenser with this easy hack!?
Ever need to make a bunch of sandwiches at once?
Well, today I’m onlinein’ in hot with a genius life hack and tip to share! Consider using a bread dispenser to essentially create a make-ahead sandwich dispenser for convenience. I love the idea of using this Bread Buddy to keep sandwich bread fresh, and making sandwiches to store in it works perfectly!
Maybe you’d like to make ahead sandwiches for a road trip, boating, camping, or maybe you just want to prep ahead school lunches for the week – if so, check this out! This clever tip was actually spotted by our team via TikTok, and I’m so happy that it totally works.
Here’s how the DIY sandwich dispenser works! Follow these easy steps:
1.) Start by grabbing a loaf of bread and making a bunch of sandwiches.
The type of sandwich is up to you. If you’ll be placing this inside a cooler or fridge, then cold lunch meat and cheese sandwiches would be excellent. You can use a very small amount of mustard/mayo but if you’re worried about sogginess, then skip it!
Be sure to grab a standard size loaf of bread that will fit in the container (avoid large or oversized loaves). I am using Nature’s Own brand for mine.
2.) Place all the sandwiches neatly back into the original plastic bag.
My loaf of bread had around 20 slices, so I was able to make ten turkey and cheese sandwiches and stacked them all inside the bag.
3.) Place the bag with sandwiches inside the bread storage container.
If it’s a tight fit, just tap the container on the counter up and down a few times and the bag with your sandwiches will slide right in. Roll the plastic bag over the top and down the sides of the bread container.
4.) Pull down on the plastic around the sides!
As you pull down on the plastic, the sandwiches now pop up like a sandwich dispenser! What?! So cool right?
This sandwich dispenser hack is perfect for on the go!
I am super impressed with this clever idea and I think you will be too. Now you can place the lid back on the top of the container and put them in a cooler or beach bag for on the go! When not in use for this purpose, I’ll be using this container to keep our bread fresh in the pantry. It’s a win-win.
