Craving Fall Flavors? Nestlé is Bringing Back Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough!
Several big brands are celebrating fall early this year!
Along with Nabisco’s recent release of Salted Caramel Brownie Oreos in July and the Apple Cider Donut Oreos onlineing later this summer in August, Toll House is jumping onto the early-fall bandwagon with their Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough onlineing out just next month!
We’re only halfway through summer, but this is great news for folks who love that specific autumn-type of coziness that we can usually only experience once a year!
Nestlé releases fun, Halloween-themed cookie doughs on the regular (including new PB&J and Trick-or-Treats cookies this year), but the Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough is the real star of these new flavors! It looks like the original Toll House Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough that came out in 2014 to much success, and then sadly (and mysteriously!) ghosted our grocery store shelves until now, 7 years later.
And last year, Nestlé skipped out on featuring fall-themed pumpkin spice cookies & instead released the Pumpkin Spice Baking Truffles. As we can see on the Toll House website, some peeps were a little disappointed that they replaced the previous morsels they were used to & opted out of producing the Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough.
While we can’t guess the reason Nestlé is deciding to roll them out again this year, fans of the easy, delicious, no-fuss Toll House cookies will no doubt be happy to see their return in just a short while!
And don’t worry, the cookie isn’t just pumpkin-flavored with a hint of cinnamon in the baking chips. Nope, it’s a full-on spiced pumpkin dough with all the nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves we could ask for.
If pumpkin spice lattes are no longer hitting the spot, just wait until next month to try these new cookies!
Nestlé hasn’t specified the official release date of the flavor, but be on the lookout onlinee early to mid-August. They’ll be available wherever Toll House products are sold, and be sure to scoop them up quickly–you never know if or when they’ll be back!
