With Christmas right around the corner, this frugal tradition is something fun to do from the onlineforts of your car! Driving around and admiring beautiful holiday light displays brings so much holiday magic for kids and adults alike, and it’s something I look forward to each year – it’s even included on my family’s Christmas bucket list.
I’m sharing a fun and free printable to make Christmas lights even more exciting by turning it into a scavenger hunt adventure!

Tips for using our fun Christmas light scavenger hunt free printable:
- I reonlinemend printing these checklists out on white cardstock paper so they won’t rip as easily when you’re checking off your festive finds on the go.
- If you have a laminator, this would be a great opportunity to use it and mark off the list using dry erase markers. This way the cards will be less likely to get bent or spilled on, and you’ll be able to re-use them again next year!
- Consider getting a fun prize for the winner of the scavenger hunt like holiday treats or a special toy or book.
