If you’re hesitating on Nest products or Simplisafe because of the lack of flexibility without paying for a subscription, then I’d really reonlinemend this Wyze setup. You can get a live feed whenever you want (like when you get notified of the door opening and you’re not home) or if you get the SD card, set a rule to turn the camera on when motion is detected and watch the playback later. It was a little tricky to figure out it’s capabilities but super worth it. You can set your own triggers and actions which makes it very customizable!

My hubby installed a few of these cameras and we love them .. he gets them at home depot a stand is 25 and a rotating is 35!

We have just the camera itself (not the entire package) and we absolutely love it. Installation is simple. The way the base works, you can pretty much put it anywhere. The sound and video is clear. We have two, one on our front porch door and one for our doggos. The best part is that once you pop in a micro sd card, you get TWO WEEKS of footage FOR FREE. No subscription needed. Considering how much other camera systems charge for this functionality to begin with, this alone make this a good deal. It also has a motion sensor function that will record any time it feels motions. All in all, love these cameras!

Well tell EVERYONE about these. We have 4 around our entire parameter of the house, for just over 100$ through amazon. My husband wired them and we have been using outdoors (under coverage) for about a year. Love the app, love the cameras… and since we are using them off label…. I’m really not concerned if one goes bad to have to replace it for 26-28$.

We have 6 of these around our house. Easy to install and the SD card gives you all the footage you need. Just a lot of extra peace of mind!

So I have a question that may sound a bit dumb… but will this system work in our away from home cabin where we don’t have internet or does the location they are installed at have to have internet? It is too remote there but we do have cell phone service when we are there.
