T.J. Maxx Has Reopened Online Ordering (Kind Of!) | + Select Brick & Mortar Stores Opening Too
Yes, it’s true! T.J. Maxx recently announced that online ordering is back!
However, before you get too excited, keep in mind that the T.J. Maxx site is set up to only accept a limited number of orders per day and once that limit is reached, all online ordering is immediately paused. Once the orders cap each day, the site will remain open for browsing purposes only.
So if you are jonesing for T.J. Maxx deals, you will have to head into your local store.
T.J. Maxx has started to reopen select stores with temporary store hours of Monday through Saturday, 10AM-7PM, and Sundays 11AM-7PM. In some stores, they will also hold dedicated shopping hours every Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM-10AM for seniors 60+ and those who are at greater risk.

While stores may be opening back up, due to COVID 19, T.J. Maxx will be taking extra safety precautions such as requiring store associates to wear masks at all times and expecting customers to wear a face-covering of some sort while shopping in-store.
Select stores may also limit the number of shoppers allowed in the store at any one time. Dressing rooms are also temporarily closed and layaway will be closed except for pickups and cancellations. According to their return policy, you will be allowed to try on the item(s) at home and return what you don’t want within 30 days of your purchase.
T.J. Maxx is also encouraging social distancing in stores and asking customers to please leave 6 feet between themselves and others while shopping and waiting in the check-out line.
