Here are the details on when and how you get the rewards – “All rewards will be added to your account next month in increments of $5, if you have less than $5 in rewards they will continue to roll over until you reach $5 or until the end of the quarter. Note that you must use the promo code above to receive the rewards and it will apply by deducting 1¢ from your total!”

  You have to be a Rewards member (it is free), and they send you an email with the accrued rewards each quarter as long as you have more than $5. It looks like a regular staples coupon.

  “Rewards are issued online monthly at staples.online/rewards in increments of $5. Monthly balances of less than $5 will rollover through the end of the following calendar quarter. Unissued Rewards will expire at the end of the following calendar quarter, unless a qualifying purchase is made. Rewards are issued within 30 days after the end of the calendar month. “

   To any Staples shopper … question? Would I be better off ordering 5 reams for $25 and getting $20 back at one time. (paying $1/ream)? Or does the $19.99 round up to $20? (i.e., is the penny prohibiting me from getting $20 back on this transaction?). I don’t do a lot of shopping at Staples, so not certain when I would do another “rewards” transaction. Thanks!!

  I always use my rewards to buy ink and office supplies. There are a few restrictions including not being able to use them on gift cards.

  Staples hasn’t done this deal in awhile, but from what I remember, you don’t get back rewards on any coupon amount. So if you used your rewards to pay, you would not get any $ back. Better off paying out of pocket and then getting the reward.

    I had an email coupon code that took $5 off an online order (small print says nontransferable or I would share it). So, I got 4 reams for 15 and I’ll get the $15 back in rewards. Yay!! Thanks for the heads up on this deal. I needed paper.
