Amazon is Prioritizing Inbound Shipments of Essential Household Products & Medical Supplies
Heads up! Amazon is prioritizing shipments!
With social distancing in place and grocery stores running out of supplies, Amazon is seeing an increase in online shopping. As a result, some products such as household staples and medical supplies are out of stock.
With this in mind, Amazon just announced to their sellers that they are temporarily prioritizing household staples, medical supplies, and other high-demand products onlineing into their fulfillment centers so that they can more quickly receive, restock, and deliver these products to their customers. This will last through April 5th.
Looking for more work? Amazon also announced plans to hire 100,000 additional warehouse and delivery workers to help handle the increase in online orders. The onlinepany also plans to raise the pay for its current workers by $2 an hour through the end of April. Read more about it here.
