Infantino Recalls Approximately 14,000 Carriers Due to a Fall Hazard
There’s an important product recall in the news!
Infantino has recalled approximately 14,000 of its infant and toddler carriers due to a risk of the buckles breaking, creating a possible fall hazard for the child. According to a report from the Consumer Product Safety onlinemission, the products recalled include the Infantino Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic carrier, the Flip Front2Back carrier, and the Up Close Newborn infant carrier.
The recalled products were sold at Target, Amazon, and other stores nationwide from November to December 2019. So far, no injuries have been reported.
Only Infantino carriers with the following lot codes are included in the recall. Similar items with different product codes are not affected by the recall. Both the product name and lot code can be found on a label sewn inside of the carriers.
- Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier – Lot codes 2018 0619 and 2018 0719
- Flip Front2back Carrier – Lot code 2018 0719
- Up Close Newborn Carrier – Lot code 2018 0719
