Starbucks’ Sous Vide Egg Bites are a popular breakfast option for anyone craving a fast, hot, protein-rich bite to eat in the morning. The price of Starbucks’ Egg Bites does vary by location, but you can usually grab a pair of them for about $4.50. While they’re certainly a delicious way to start your day, they’re definitely not the most economical option.


Three Bridges egg bites from Costco

One affordable yet delicious alternative to the Starbucks’ Sous Vide Egg Bites can be found at Costco. These Three Bridges Egg Bites are sold in packages of eight for $9.79, so buying these and taking just 60 seconds in the microwave to prepare them at home will save you a significant amount of money.

We’ve also seen these egg bites at Target, where you can buy a two-pack for $3.99. Target also sells a Country Sausage flavor of the Three Bridges Egg Bites. While it’s not as much savings as buying the package of eight from Costco, it might be a good way to try them before you onlinemit to the buying them in bulk.


Bacon Swiss egg bite at Walmart

These Three Little Pigs Sous Vide Egg Bites from Walmart are another tasty alternative to Starbucks. They onlinee in Bacon Swiss and Spinach Feta flavors, and they’re sold for $1.78 each.

Rumor has it that ALDI is also rolling out its own sous vide egg bites in Bacon Swiss and Spinach Feta flavors, very similar to what we’ve seen at Walmart. They’re already starting to appear in select locations, where they’re selling in packs of two for $2.79. We’ll be looking for these to hit the shelves of ALDI locations nationwide in early 2020!

      I also make these, using a silicon egg bite/baby food container. Love them! I make a double batch, 1/2 spinach, 1/2 bacon and freeze. They microwave well, but a toaster oven would probably crisp the tops like the ones at Starbucks.

    I also reonlinemend the Instant Pot version! 🙂 They are much better than the samples of the egg bites I tried at Costco. Unfortunately, those tasted more like a “scrambled egg” than the yummy Starbucks Egg Bites.

    I bought a sous vide and make my own. It’s a great kitchen tool to have around. If you really love Starbuck’s this would pay for itself in no time.

      You bought an immersion circulator and now you can cook in the style of sous vide. “Sous vide” means under vacuum; vacuum sealed.
