   I love these for going out to eat and entertaining while waiting. Have to be careful with the car, as they do melt in the heat and stick to carpet or car seats.

   We are traveling with three kids (8, 6, and 5) on a budget airline with no entertainment. I’m totally buying one (or two!) of these. Any other reonlinemendations for activities that don’t take up a lot of space but can have some sustained entertainment?

  The crayola color wonder travel sets are great! The onlinee with 3 markers and a few pages in a little cardboard case. I think they run about $7, but you can get them a little cheaper on sale at Target.

  Thanks for the reonlinemendations! Sounds like we have quite a few options. It will be just me and the three kids so anything I can do with little supervision (and fighting) is great!

  Look on YouTube! There are TONS of reonlinemendations. Just type in something along the search “airplane travel with children” etc. “always Lorna Marie” is one of the most recent channels I watched.

  We use this set for travel and it worked great for my 5 year old (my 3 year old enjoyed receiving gifts that his sister made from it!) we also take the small treat size canisters of play-doh and use the tray to play. The water wow books from Melissa and Doug are also a great idea.

  The Melissa & Doug water wow books, their reusable sticker books, and mosaic sticker pads are great! Scratch art, dot to dots, lacing cards.

  Search Amazon for Dover sticker books. They are tiny and so great for airplane trips! Make Your Own Cupcake, Animal Mix and Match, and sticker puzzles have been favorites.
