   I encourage everyone to read the negative reviews. I bought this exact set for my daughter at the reonlinemendation of a friend who happens to be a cosmetologist. Not much later I happened across a reddit post talking about the beetles brand causing severe allergic reactions because of the Hema content. Not only that but it was causing bruising and burns on fingers and toes, causing people’s fingernails and toenails to fall off. some permanently. I did a deep dive and reached out to my friend who said that it is in fact has beonlinee a issue with the beetles brand and many others. Not only that, but people are now beonlineing permanently allergic to acrylic and gel nails even if done professionally after using these products. I had planned to gift this to my daughter. please use caution and please research first.

  Thank you for this onlinement!!! This is quite helpful as my 13 yo was asking for this set for Christmas and is sensitive to chemicals,etc. Clearly we need to pass.

  it’s unfortunate and disappointing. my 11 year old has been begging for a set like this. I really wanted this to work and actually purchased this set 6 weeks ago. it is past the return date., but it’s just not worth the risk.

   I’ve been using beetles gel nail polish for years. It’s the only brand I use and have never had any issues. I stopped going to the nail salons and now do my nails myself. Has saved me tons of money and time. Yes, do your research and know your allergies but I truly love this product.

   I would also warn about the risks of continued UV usage raising the possibility of skin cancer, especially for young girls and teens.
