“To score good deals on kids clothes and shoes, I like to buy ahead when I see larger sizes on clearance or at garage sales.”
“I track what items I have and still need on a Google docs spreadsheet (one for my boy, the other for my girls) with columns by size and a listing of each type of item and quantity underneath. So at a quick glance I know we need more winter outfits or need soccer cleats in the next size or have plenty of shorts. Using my cell phone, I can easily review when I’m shopping and update once I purchase items to fill in the gaps.”
