This Reader Uses Her Swedish Towels for Everything
Looking for an eco-friendly kitchen staple?
How many paper towels do you go through on average? Are you in need of coasters? Do you need another sponge? This probably sounds super random, but all these things can be done with the help of some Swedish towels! This week’s Happy Friday reader Tracey is sharing how these simple Swedish towels have made a massive impact around her condo!
I am a big fan of Swedish dishcloths thanks to past Hip2Save posts. They’re affordable and super useful around the house. I have quite a few and needed a way to corral them all. (Small condo=few drawers/cabinets.) All it took was an inexpensive napkin holder from Walmart to keep them handy!
I use them daily to place under mugs so I don’t accidentally chip them on my granite countertops. I also cut one in half to place under the soaps by my sink to absorb drips. When one needs to be washed, I just switch it out with the other half.
Whenever I see H2S posts showing them on sale, I always order a pack or two as they make great gifts. Be sure to see past posts for more useful tips if you haven’t tried them yet!
Thanks, Tracey, for highlighting how beneficial Swedish towels are! We have an entire Swedish towel product review pointing out nine reasons why we just can’t get enough of these bio-degradable towels. Currently, you can score a pack of 10 for just $12.42 on Amazon (regularly up to $24.99).
These towels are absorbent, easy to wash, and can do just about every household chore you can think of. It feels good to do something great for the planet, and it feels even better when it means you also have a clean home!
