Here’s How to Get the New Limited Edition Dr Pepper FANtastic Chocolate Flavor
If you’re a Dr Pepper AND chocolate fan, check out the newest beverage!
Just in time for football season, Dr Pepper has unveiled a brand new flavor called FANtastic Chocolate! This dessert-like onlinebination of Dr Pepper and chocolate would make an extra sweet post-game victory celebration, but if you want to try this decadent new twist on an iconic beverage you’re going to have to work for it.
The new limited-time Dr Pepper FANtastic Chocolate won’t be available for purchase anywhere. Dr Pepper has introduced it as a way to kick off its new “Pepper Perks” rewards program. This means that the only way to get your hands on this new flavor is to rack up enough rewards to earn a taste.
To get your shot at this limited-edition sip, you must scan the proof of purchase QR code on a qualifying Dr Pepper product. Then, you’ll be prompted to create a “Pepper Perks” account. Once you’ve earned a qualifying amount of points, you can redeem them for the exclusive new flavor as long as it is available.
Wondering how much Dr Pepper you’ll have to buy to get some of the coveted new flavor? You’ll need 100 points to unlock the FANtastic Chocolate Dr Pepper. Here are the qualifying products you can buy to earn rewards, and their point values:
- All Dr Pepper products (i.e. 8oz, 16oz, 20oz, 24oz, 1L, 2L, 2.5L, 3L etc.) = 10 Points per product
- Dr Pepper multi-packs (i.e. 4pk, 6pk 0.5L, 8pk, 10pk, 12pk, 15pk, 24pk, Mini Can Packs, etc.) = 15 Points per package
- Club packs from membership clubs like Sam’s Club & BJ’s (i.e. 28pk, 30pk, 32pk, 35pk, 36pk) = 30 Points per package
In addition to the new FANtastic Chocolate Dr Pepper, Pepper Perks rewards members can use their points to unlock other rewards in the app. Football fans can also enter to win a trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship and Dr Pepper branded gear designed to enhance your gameday experience.
