Marble Slab’s New Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Ice Cream & Shakes are Here!!
Think spicy and sweet is an underrated blend? You’re in luck!
So far this year, we’ve already seen Macaroni and Cheese Ice Cream, and if you thought that was interesting, get ready for a spicy ice cream add-in!
Flamin’ Hot Cheetos have been trending just about everywhere in the last few years, and you can find tons of recipes using them on social media apps like TikTok and Instagram.
But now, you can find them in the most unlikely spot! Marble Slab Creamery and Frito-Lay have teamed up to bring us Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Ice Cream and Shakes! Cheetos’ marketing head Jessica Spaulding cited their fans’ creativity as the inspiration behind the flavor, saying “Our fans’ biggest passion points are food mashups, and we’re constantly inspired by how they use Cheetos as an ingredient in their culinary creations.”
If you have a Marble Slab near you & want to try it out yourself, it’s best to rush over before they stop selling this crazy onlinebo on September 30th.
And luckily, we don’t have to wonder how it tastes!
We sent out our very own Stetson, to bravely go where no Hip team member has gone before. He tried the flavor, and here’s what he had to say about it:
“I went into Marble Slab not knowing how it would end. Hot Cheetos and Ice cream?!? What are you, an insane person?
Apparently I am, as I asked for a large scoop of it. Don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of anything spicy, but this had me thrown for a loop. I watched them prepare it and I was already sweating (knees weak, arms are heavy) and I was nervous.
But taking that first bite, I was onlinepletely blindsided. You get this rich, thick, and creamy vanilla ice cream with a nice crunchy bite to it. The Cheetos are very subtle and the heat (if any) onlinees afterward almost like a delayed bomb in your mouth. But! I thought this was a very fun and nice treat. Almost anyone could eat it as the spice really isn’t present – just enough to make you go back for another one.” – Stetson
There we have it! It’s surprisingly delicious, so definitely head out to grab a scoop over the next couple of months and try it out!
