Ready for exciting Costco news?

Everyone knows the best part of going to Costco, besides the hot deals, is the free samples and cafeteria-style food!

Costco has just announced that starting at the beginning of June, they will be bringing back free samples in 170 locations, with samples returning to remaining locations throughout the month of June.

Costco Sample demo

Free samples were eliminated from Costco warehouses in March 2020 due to the pandemic, though individually-wrapped samples did make their way to select Costco locations last June.

Now that things are returning to normal, so will the Costco experience – with a few changes in place. Samples will be prepared behind plexiglass and will be handed out to one customer at a time.

With the return of samples, Costco is also bringing back food court seating! Capacity will be limited and tables will be much more spaced out, but you’ll be able to enjoy your favorites in-store again. Select locations will be offering outdoor seating as well. And, the best part is they will be adding new and improved menu items.

I’m still more than content to ride it out…I pretty much know what things taste like…way more than I can imagine COVID could feel like! Thanks, but NO THANKS, not worth a sample of an item that I could purchase for $2.00!…one woman’s sole opinion, no judgement either way xoxo

Ha. Find me anything in Costco that’s $2. But I hope lots of people feel this way. It was impossible to navigate the store when people lined up for samples.

Your onlinement is a false statement. Your “internet/social media research” is not a substitute for a medical degree. Please allow this to remain a fun couponing site and keep your lies to yourself or post on the appropriate QAnon blog. Thanks! Have a blessed day!

I need to know what he is eating at the food court! What is in the black bowl above the salad????

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s their Al Pastor Salad for $4.99! It’s made with plant-based soy protein, chopped romaine lettuce, black beans with fresh vegetables, banh mi vegetables, and dressing.

Oh! Thanks! It looks so good, but I guess it’s not available around my area 🙁
