We spotted Easter clearance at Target!

Head in to your local Target where you may be able to score up to 50% off Easter clearance items! We spotted 50% off home decor, baskets and more, but note that the food items were only marked 30% off.

Keep in mind that the clearance selection this year seem to be way more limited than previous years as we visited TWO stores before finding any clearance. Bummer!

*HIP TIP – Before making a special trip to Target, click on the DPCI numbers listed below and enter your zip code to check availability at your local store. Note that Brickseek is NOT always accurate with stock or pricing.

the 30-70% picture sign is deceiving.
    what is 70% off?

    • Mitali

I agree. Maybe the candy? It looks like everything that was price checked in the pictures was 50% off.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SO sorry for any confusion. Thanks for onlinementing. We’re updating the post now.

  2. amanda-43

I went yesterday to 2 targets and there was literally nothing left except egg dye cups. I’ve been super disappointed in the post holiday clearance lately!

    • Samanthology

Agreed! I love post-holiday clearance to stock the gift closet for next year, but this whole year has been disappointing after every holiday/season.

      • LauraG

It looked like the stores didn’t stock as much merchandise this year, so not as much leftover crap to sell.

    • Laura

Agreed. Some stores have told me they are putting everything away for next year. Surely dissappointing.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! Thanks for the feedback on what you found in your store!

    • Molly Musante

Me too. When I went to Target after Valentine’s day in 2019 I got tons of stuff…lots of stuff for Easter Baskets. Not this year….hardly anything and I went the day after Valentine’s day.

      • Jsdncr

Me too. They started this at Christmas

  3. Jessica

I went to Hy-Vee yesterday, they had 2 carts of Easter everything $1. Like even the big Mars bags with 300+ pieces! I got M&M, Lindt, Receses, an egg cake pan, and more!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Great finds, Jessica!

  4. Me

Lucky’s yesterday also had shopping carts full of Easter from $.25- $5. I got a Ty Squishy (large) for $2! I have not had any luck at the bigger stores. CVS had an bunch of stuff left but it was only 50%. I’ll find storage space for 90% off stuff, but not 50% off….ha ha!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing the clearance you’ve spotted! Good to know!

I found 50% off all Easter stuff at CVS.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Thanks for the heads up!

I also think people are really into holidays this past year because of the pandemic. I looked for Easter crafts at the dollar store 4 weeks ago and there was nothing. It’s fine. Just shop earlier and don’t expect clearance as much.

  7. Mod Mom

Walgreens Easter is at 50 percent. Cute stuff!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know! We’ll be sure to check it out!

    • Sushi

Yes it is and buy 5 get the 6th free.

  8. Shelly

The bunny basket would b cute to fill with baby items for a baby shower or new baby 💝

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

What a great idea, Shelly! Thanks for the suggestion!

  9. Kitty

That egg cooker looks cool! I’ll have to look for it

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Hope you find it, Kitty!

  10. joni shandle

Thanks for people who mentioned great deals in other stores. Target Easter candy sign said buy one get one 25% OFF. Thats really no deal.

  11. Sherri

Wow to see this much clearance! All of our stores had only a few bags of jelly beans and a set it two of egg dye-and that was a week before Easter! I’ve never seen the stores so empty.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I know! This was Paige’s store in Utah. My store in North Texas had broken everything down into one aisle and that had maybe 30 different items. They’re definitely not over-purchasing at any of the big box stores this year!

  12. Momof3girls

The targets around me were onlinepletely wiped out a week before Easter shelves were empty. Not even any candy left

  13. Kim

Our targets were all bare days leading up to the holidays but I did manage to find some runners and plates. They were in the home decor aisles on an end cap.

  14. Linda T

It will vary by location but I will check! Thanks for posting. I spent waaaay too much money on this stuff. I made 200 eggs and shipped them to my family in another city/state – the box never made it. It was lost in the mail. I was scrambling to make new eggs the night before. There was hardly anything on the shelves where we were visiting. What a nightmare this year.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re very welonlinee! SO very sorry to hear the box never arrived.

  15. Kelly

I went to Target a couple days before Easter and they were almost onlinepletely sold out of Easter stuff:/
Haven’t had a chance to make it to Hobby Lobby but last year I stocked up on so much for this year at 90% off!

  16. evelynlo96

I managed to snag the egg cooker bc those are usually over $15. I already have one and I love it!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Glad you could grab it!

  17. Missmarbe

I went to Target on Saturday before Easter and they had literally cleaned off the shelves and had a few items in a shaping cart in the aisleway. There was no last minute shopping and definitely none left for clearance!!!

  18. sharlk

How can you get the Dash Every Day Egg Cooker at Target for $8.49? Is there a code you can use to get it from Target online?

    • nin

I believe it is in store only. If you click on the linked dcpi code under it above and put in your zip code it should tell you availability and price locally

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! That pricing can be found in store. You can click through the DPCI link above to see if that price may be available near you. Hope this helps!

  19. Evie

Yes, someone told me they sell the clearance on line, always doubted. They cannot save for next year unless they send to a central warehouse. Overpriced junk anyway!
They can keep their 30%of Easter candy, it should have already been 50% off at Easter!
    “Expect less, but pay more.”
50% off Hams may work for some.

  20. Kay

Walmart in Greensboro NC 50% off. I’m surprised it’s not 75% yet n there’s only one side of an aisle with Easter stuff. Will keep going back to c if it goes to 90%.
