Walmart is giving us a whole new reason to look forward to summer!

Ree Drummond (a.k.a. the Pioneer Woman) has released an ice cream collection that includes everything you’ll need to make batches of old-fashioned ice cream right in your own kitchen. These new products include four ice cream mixes that are the next best thing to visiting the famous Charlie’s Sweet Shop in Pawhuska, OK.

The Pioneer Woman’s new ice cream mixes are sold at Walmart for $3.68 each. Every pouch yields two quarts of homemade ice cream, and best of all, they totally simplify the entire process. With the addition of just two cups each of milk and cream, you can make flavors like Toffee Caramel, Birthday Cake, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Salted Caramel!

I’ll have to check these out. Ice cream containers continue to get smaller at the store and are full of garbage ingredients.

Don’t have an ice cream maker tho? Ttry Gemma Stafford’s no machine ice cream recipe. It is so good, I might actually like it better I actually like it better than most recipes I’ve made in my machine (tho Alton Brown has a great one). I usually only make vanilla and find it a tad too sweet, so I increase the whipping cream to 3 cups and add 1 Tbs vanilla along with the sweetened condensed milk. So easy and I do it all in my KitchenAid stand mixer and pop into a freezer container. https://www.biggerbolderbaking.online/homemade-ice-cream-party/
