Scotts Mulch Bags Just $2 Each w/ Free Pick Up at Tractor Supply

   I normally get bark when it’s $2 a bag at Lowe’s or Home Depot but it’s never been Scott brand. Curious if Scott bark is better in terms of keeping the color. Anyone have experience with it?

   I’ve used both from Lowe’s and the Scott’s brand is much, much better. Doesn’t have the huge chunks in it and the dye lasts longer. The cheaper brand Lowe’s sells also has an odor and the Scott’s doesn’t. This is an awesome deal.

   PS – Lowe’s has the Scott’s for $2.50/bag now. I’ll be going there since there is not TS nearby. Also Lowe’s gives 10% off for military.

  I entered my zip code and they still showed $3.99 UNTIL I went to checkout. Then it took off the difference and lowered the price to $10 for five. The trick may be to see what your checkout total is once you have five bags in your cart.

  Hi there! I don’t find a limit listed, I was able to add the deal to my cart twice. You could always call in to your location to be sure on how they are honoring it in store. Hope this helps!

  I went to my local store and purchased it at 5 for $10. The sign said the sale ran from 3/31-4/5. There was no mention of a limit.

  I went to the store and bought in store. No sale signage but I took 10 bags to the register and the it rang up for 5 for $10. The cashier onlinemented what a good price it was and was surprised.

   Wow I was tempted to run out and get this but no more. I’ve been buying the black mulch from Lowe’s over the past 5-6 years. It fades pretty quickly. This sounded much better until I read the reviews. Sounds like the quality has changed and you get an awful lot of mold and manure smell. My Lowe’s mulch gets some mold, but very little. Guess I’ll be sticking with Lowe’s.

   Picked up 40 bags from Tractor Supply today curbside after ordering online. Very simple. SOOOO much simpler than Lowe’s. Every bag was perfect, without mold or any weird smells. Sometimes the Lowe’s brand would be different colors and look strange when mixed together, but the Scott’s looks great. Thanks!

    Just finished spreading 40 bags 20 red and 20 brown. No chemical smell, few bags had some mold but what do you expect when the mulch is sealed up in a plastic bag the is left out in the snow and rain then add some sunshine. Plus they helped load the bags in the truck My husband stood in the back and they hand the bags up to him. 👍5 stars. Mandy
