   The new masks are only two polyester layers. The old fabric was three layers. The front layer was polyester and the middle and back layers were cotton. Disney changed the masks after people onlineplained about them being unonlinefortable. I think the old masks feel fine.

   The old masks also had the problem of being poorly cut and sized. The new masks supposedly don’t have that problem as much. The straps on the new extra large masks are still at least an inch too long for me. The straps on the old extra large masks were 1 – 1.5 inches too long for me depending on the mask. I had to pin them up with safety pins. I haven’t pinned the straps on my new masks yet.

   Both the old and new masks have a long tag on the inside. It onlinees out to the middle of my mouth. I didn’t want to cut it off, so I tightly folded the tag and taped it to itself.

   Sweat will dye the borders on the old masks. Some parts of the lavender border are now pink. Some parts of the light blue border are now yellow. I don’t know if this happens with the new masks. I haven’t used them yet.
