   This thing is perfect. I got one of these for my mom for Christmas when it was on sale because she’s been through so many “cheap” alarm clocks that don’t last very long for 10-20$. So when I heard Lenovo was making a basic essential version of their smart clock I was so excited since I got the Regular Lenovo smart clock a year and a half ago and its still going fine. So I figured this essential version would be the last alarm clock my mom would ever have to get because of how well they’re built. Also the clock screen has big bold numbers and letters that are white on a black screen so it’s very easy to see for everyone! Plus it tells what day of the week it is and the temperature outside. Plus it has a nightlight in the back side of it (my mom hasn’t used it yet so Idk how bright it is) and you can turn the microphone off as well if you don’t want to use it with google assistant and just use it as a regular clock. But using it with google assistant enhances it with many great features rather then leaving the microphone off. For 20$ you should definitely buy this! heck maybe even buy 2 or 3 more as presents or for other people in the house! You can get 3 of them and still only pay 10$ more then regular price! Rather than buying just one at regular price 50$

  The nightlight IS bright. Just say… hey google… dim the night light on the clock. Worked great! Now it’s just right.
